Finance and Administration Officer – Part Time (Requisition ID: 015046)

SkyPoint is perched on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building and is truly an extraordinary venue, 230 meters in the sky. As a growing and busy venue, we currently have an opportunity for a finance administration extraordinaire to join the team in a part time position for a minimum 30 hours per week.

Reporting to the General Manager, the purpose of this role is to efficiently perform administrative finance tasks, ordering, basic finance reporting, and maintain inventory in both inventory management system and on point of sale.

The key duties will include:

  • Generate purchase orders and manage open orders until through to payment;
  • Order all supplies with supporting purchase orders as required by departments;
  • Process invoices and collate for receipting and payment processes;
  • Generate count sheets, enter data, and generate monthly stocktakes;
  • Maintain department stock databases and item management in both ERM and POS;
  • Generate and prepare stock related reports as required;
  • Set up of new suppliers;
  • Liaise with suppliers – delivery arrangements, orders, shortages, stock substitutes;
  • Inventory implementation and assistance of menu changes;
  • Enter and report on wastage and inter-department transfers.

Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Prior experience in a similar role or suitable qualification;
  • Experience using an ERP or similar order and inventory management system;
  • Strong administration and organisational skills with high level of attention to detail;
  • Highly computer literate, experience with Microsoft 365;
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Have proven reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently;
  • High levels of initiative and a sense of ownership for their responsibilities;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact proactively with management and staff on all levels of the organization.

Existing knowledge of JDE1, Netsuite, and Fedelta would be advantageous. Qualification in bookkeeping or other finance qualifications highly desirable.
