 Job Summary

The Mass Market Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Product Development Manager of the Mass Market Division with overall project management as well as administrative and clerical duties in dealing with Mass Market retailers.  

Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Data entry: accurately enter all data needed to complete Product Offer and Supplier Quotes in Walmart’s Retail Link system, and maintain internal spreadsheets with HTS codes, duty rates, case pack sizes, etc. to complete quotes for all mass market retailers
• Organize, prepare, and ship out all customers’ samples
• As a key administrator, continuously monitor Walmart’s Retail Link system to stay on top of any demands/requirements and communicate any changes to Design, Pre-production & Production teams
• Monitor Time and Action calendar together with the Senior Product Development Manager by maintaining constant communication with mass market accounts’ global sourcing team and/or agents.  Follow up with internal teams for upcoming events to ensure deadlines are being met and that changes are communicated effectively.
• Complete administrative forms such as: Vendor Registrations, Agreements, Licenses, etc.
• Relay mass market new production protocols to internal team and arrange trainings for the team
• Attend all trainings for all accounts
• Collaborate with overseas Director of Production & QA to maintain smooth transition from production to shipping by organizing commercial invoices in mass market’s vendor portals
• Collaborate with Designers and Senior Product Development Manager to assist sample development by creating garment technical flats, packaging and material approvals, and keep track of sample status with each factory

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Mass Market retailers, preferably experience with Walmart and Retail Link system
• Experience in Apparel Product Development is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Merchandising degree preferred but not required
• Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Beginner to Intermediate level of experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred but not required
• Excellent listening, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills – ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time while still paying strict attention to detail
