The position of Applications Engineer is critical to completing quality machines that ship on time. This job focuses on “How” the machine will operate to verify a quality machine that will produce parts at the required quality level. Essentially, the purpose of this job is to “Wow” the customer. The Applications Engineer will perform start-up and run-off of machines at Drake Manufacturing, and when necessary, at the customer site. Members of this team are the face of the company.

Typical Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
• Effectively communicate with customers, other team members, and suppliers always maintaining professionalism.
• Perform technical/ product training of customers and Drake field service personnel as needed.
• Travel, sometimes with limited notice, by car or by air to domestic and international locations.
