Old Towne Dental was established in 1994, and provides the highest quality general dental care for patients in Tehachapi, CA and across the Tehachapi Valley. Our practice is owned and operated by Dr. Michael Jones, a general dentist with over 20 years of dental experience. We also have an exceptional assosiate who has been here for a little over a year, Dr. David Nguyen. Together with our experienced, fully trained staff, Dr. Jones and Dr. Nguyen provide a comprehensive range of dental servicesto patients of all ages. We go the extra mile to make sure every patient feels comfortable in our care.

We are looking for an experienced front office team member. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service, and ensuring that all visitors are welcomed and taken care of in a professional manner. The front office team member should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong understanding of customer service principles.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate personnel.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Checking insurance benefits, calling in patient prescriptions, handing aged and problem claims, entering in insurance payments accurately.
• Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
• Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
• Confirm appointments with patients via phone or email.
• Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
• Ensure that all customer service standards are met.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 – $20.00 per hour
