THE GIG

Supporting the EMEA Finance Business Partner for B2B, focus to deliver accurate financial reporting and forecasting for the EMEA region, providing meaningful weekly and monthly analysis of sales and operating expenses and helping to implement robust controls and improve processes to drive accurate and efficient sales and cost reporting.

Monthly Reporting and Business Partnering:

• Drive and support accurate financial reporting by working collaboratively with the Cobbs accounting team to drive country based P&L reporting
• Support the month end process and deliver P&L’s to cost centre owners
• Production of monthly cost reporting and associated analysis of variances
• Business partner with key members of the EMEA B2B, providing guidance and analysis to monthly spend and latest view

Budgets and Forecasts:

• Assisting in the budgeting/forecasting of B2B Channel
• Support the production of submissions and presentations to group stakeholders and global leadership team

Weekly/Monthly review of performance

• Reporting and developing tools which enable insight into the shipping actuals, and providing insight into areas where we may have issues relating to inventory, product availability and Credit situation
• Ownership and presentation of weekly trading performance for B2B covering both Sell In and Sell Through analysis
• Responsible for providing insightful commentary on weekly and monthly trading performance, with thorough understanding of performance versus the forecast and previous year

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a financial reporting and analysis role in an international business. Retail/Wholesale experience preferable.
• An ability to work independently and a strong work ethic, managing time successfully to work to agreed timetables and deadlines.
• Advanced excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
• Confidence in building strong business partnering relationships and engaging collaboratively.
• Proven ability to think creatively with strong problem solving skills in order to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic working environment.
• Be able to provide high quality analysis to drive decision making.
• An analytical and questioning mind set and confidence to ask questions.
• Exposure to Finance systems at an operational level – ideally D365, but not essential.
• Exposure to using Business Information (BI) Tools.
