• D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an* Office Assistant *for their Main Office Department. The right candidate will provide support with the daily activities of the office including filing, telephone coverage, and general clerical assistance.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
• Maintain Division files. Keep filing current and create new files as needed
• Deliver mail and faxes
• Retrieve voicemail messages
• Distribute outgoing items
• Drop off outgoing mail at post office
• Troubleshoot any problems with office machinery. Call for maintenance if necessary
• Order and stock office supplies
• Clean out refrigerator regularly
• Assist other departments as schedule allows
• Relieve the Receptionist for breaks and lunch
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
• Education and / or Experience*
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Six months to one year of related experience and / or training
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
• Preferred Qualifications*
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
