Experienced Medical Receptionist required for fast paced Ophthalmic Practice.

Requirement

*you MUST demonstrate in your application how you meet the following requirements, in order to be considered for the position.

-2 years Medical Reception experience

-Invoicing, third party billing/transaction (debit/credit)

-Billing (MSI codes)

-Booking appointments

-Answering phones on busy switchboard

-Must be able to work as an individual and as part of a team

-Multitasking

-Reliable and responsible

-Accountable/ Punctual

-Professional in communication at all times

-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

-Attention to detail

-Experience with Med-Access (and other EMR/electronic booking systems an asset)

-Cross Training within office

Duties:

-Front Desk duties (phones, patient check in/out, maintaining physician schedule, etc.. )

-Test bookings (in office and coordination with hospital)

-Billing (third party and MSI)

-Appointment scheduling

-Filing

-Surgical and procedure bookings

-Liase with hospitals

-And any other tasks deemed appropriate by office management.
