Position:

1 year fixed term contract

Applications are invited for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist at DP World London Gateway and DP World Southampton. We are looking for a strategic recruitment specialist to help us attract, source, and retain our talent. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have experience in managing the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing, assessment centres and interviewing, ensuring the best candidate experience. Partnering with DP World and one of our largest contractors, South Coast Port Services, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will look to improve our recruitment processes and use their creativity to design and implement an effective recruitment and staffing strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate talent acquisition activities, including sourcing candidates, organising, and conducting assessment centres and screening via interviews (phone and in-person)
• To partner with our key departments and stakeholders to understand their talent requirements and to source their workforce needs by finding and helping to retain the ideal candidates
• Review the current talent acquisition processes to consider new ways of working and more innovative and forward thinking ways to attract and retain talent
• Liaise with external partners to develop attraction strategies to build proactive and effective candidate pipelines
• Conduct research into our competitors and marketplace to ensure we remain current and looking for our competitive advantage.
• Analyse, track and report on recruitment metrics including activities and costs of advertising to key stakeholders
• Research, design and implement a strategy to improve our recruitment processes and develop a sustainable retention lead strategy
• Coach managers on recruitment trends, legislation and how to improve candidate and employee experience
• Work with the People Team on detailed analysis of retention stats and control measures in place to maintain retention.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting
• Excellent understanding of talent acquisitions
• Demonstratable experience of implementing a range of attraction and selection methodologies
• Experience of managing high volume recruitment, delivering assessment centers, and pipelining talent for future recruitment requirements
• A good understanding of technology and other trends in the HR/Recruiting space that can help us deliver superior candidate/employee experience
• Good understanding of Employer Branding strategies
• An understanding of Recruitment Marketing software is a plus

• Excellent at using Microsoft office packages including, Excel, word and PowerPoint
