Job Definition
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will have a strong financial services background as a lender or in some other capacity. Ideally, the candidate will have hands-on experience with one or more of the Doxim Front Office applications: Customer Relationship Management (CRM/ACE), Loans Origination System (LOS/IntelliLender), Account Opening System (AOS), and Business Analytics System (BAS/Cognito).
The BSA will bridge the gap between Doxim’s customers and technical project teams to ensure successful Doxim product implementations and high client satisfaction. Working closely with the business stakeholders the BSA will document and facilitate the integration of business and functional requirements into project plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert in the functionality of the Doxim CRM, LOS, AOS, and BAS products in support of our customers and Doxim staff members.
Work independently with minimal supervision, establish priorities, and use strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each project
Participate as part of a team with targeted deliverables, working on initiatives designed to improve processes, systems, and applications which support our key businesses
Work with the customer to understand customer goals and objectives for Doxim’s products and configure the solution accordingly
Develop technical requirements through business requirement gathering techniques to understand the scope, functional & non-functional relationships, dependencies, risks, and facilitate the communication between business and technology areas
Lead client requirements discussions, including but not limited to:
Working with Doxim customers to review and demonstrate various product configurations.
Record specific desired configuration decisions and update the relevant XML files to update the default product configuration settings.
Test the configuration settings and overall system function, providing the customer with a testing checklist prior to the commencement of acceptance testing.
Gather and apply customer project inputs (branches, user information, banking product names and codes, 3rd Party information)
Define requirements for scope change requests and work orders
Assume an ownership role, on behalf of the client to ensure deliverables meet business/end-user requirements
Serve as a liaison between the Doxim product management and Professional Services groups to recommend, develop, and test changes or modifications introduce newly delivered functionality
Build and maintain positive working relationships by effectively communicating and sharing knowledge with your team/peers
Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies, trends/developments and develop expertise in analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development/delivery
Assist with enforcing project goals and direction to support the strategic business objectives
Take ownership of requirements related issues and lead by example
Elicit and document requirements for systems integration of new system(s) with existing systems, and assist technical teams to document, design, and implement solutions.
Collaborate with Customers and Doxim staff to recommend and develop solutions for identifying business requirements and needs
Education and Experience:
Hands-on exposure to the financial services industry and one or more of the Doxim Banking applications
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related equivalent with knowledge of BA tools and techniques.
Experience documenting business requirements
Experience in the Business Systems Analyst field would be an asset.
Working knowledge of SDLC
Working knowledge of Project Management Methodology
Strong MS Office and Visio skills
Exposure to Reporting, Project Management, and time tracking tools
Comfortable working with technical staff at various levels, including C-level executives but also
developers, testers, and project analysts
Experience working with configuration files / HTML / XML
Skilled at requirements gathering
Strong investigative and diagnostic skills
Travel
