Position summary
We have an opportunity for a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) within the Facilities and Asset Services business based in Brisbane (Milton). This is an 18 month fixed term role within a friendly and supportive HR team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Deliver Employee & Industrial Relations (ER / IR) to the business (knowledge of legislative and consequent impact on the organisation, relationships with unions, government/regulatory bodies, community, etc including leading EBA negotiations with the support of the IR centre of excellence, leadership team and union representatives).
Undertake major change management / people impact / restructure initiatives when required.
Work with the business in relation to supporting productivity improvement initiatives, process improvements and initiatives to support business goals.
Work with the business on organisational design and leadership capability to best support the immediate and future organisational goals.
Develop effective workforce planning solutions, retention and succession plans and design and oversee development plans for key people, high potentials and talent management profiles.
ABOUT YOU
Degree qualified HR generalist preferably with a background in the Maintenance/Industrial or Construction industry.
Experience in interpreting and applying conditions of Enterprise Agreements in addition to a well-developed knowledge of legislation that governs the employment relationship.
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders with demonstrated experience driving and implementing change.
A positive person, who is a team player, with a can-do attitude.
Demonstrated success in strategic HR disciplines such as Performance Development, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Transactional IR, Analytics and Reporting.
Experience with restructures, embedding change in the capacity of change champion would be advantageous.
