Downer’s Road Services business unit is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road. Our Business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country.

We are seeking a Finance and Administration Lead to manage a team of administrators across our Road Services business in Tasmania. Central to this role is to establish and manage streamlined, standardised and transparent accounting services . This encompasses an end to end process including job/contract establishment, all aspects of daily job records including purchasing, client billing and contract/job close out and responsible for month end.

This role will require having previous experience managing teams; strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret large volumes of data.

About you:
Ideally, you will have a finance background coupled with operational exposure, preferably within heavy industrial, manufacturing or engineering sectors.

Tertiary level qualification or equivalent industry experience.

A strong communicator who can influence the business and lead a team to deliver efficient high-quality data to all stakeholders.

Exposure to working within large, complex organisations with multiple entities.
