Position summary

Downer’s Infrastructure Projects (IP) Division is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join their finance team based out of Milton, QLD .

Reporting to the Senior Financial Administrator , you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate governance over the financial & admin processes on Tenders and Projects to ensure compliance with IP / Downer processes and procedures. You will be an exceptional Finance Administrator that our team heavily relies on with excellent written & verbal communication skills, the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships & confident to deliver training to develop our project people. Working in a collaborative, dynamic and friendly team environment you will articulate financial performance for the purpose of variance analysis and monthly reporting.

ABOUT YOU:
Ideally, you will possess a Certificate or Diploma qualification in Finance/Accounting (or near completed) with demonstrated experience in a similar role, together with;

Proven previous experience working in a construction project team

Passion & drive to champion best practice

Previous experience in providing Purchase to Pay (P2P) support

Experience in preparation & reconciliation of expenses & supplier statements

Proficiency across Microsoft Office and JDEGS (or another ERP)

Knowledge of Power BI would be desirable

Experience in end of month of reporting, budgeting and forecasting

Work autonomously and as part of a team

Enjoy challenges and can manage multiple stakeholders

Analytical thinker with the ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels

High attention to detail with the ability to manage conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines

Service focused with a proactive approach to delivering on time.

Work effectively in teams to identify and improve processes

Strong safety focus – actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies
