ABOUT THE ROLE

Clearly define and communicate delivery dates for orders to all stakeholders

Ensure invoices and progress updates are issued on time as per order requirement

Maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Undertake negotiations of contract amendments with Clients

Scrutinise each contract or purchase order received for key criteria with regard to delivery, payment terms, financial instruments, documentation, insurances, penalties, and transportation requirements to ensure that it aligns with Downer policies.

Where discrepancies occur between Contract or purchase order Mineral Technologies proposal, liaise with the Bid Manager and client to reach agreement on conflicting issues.

Review commercial terms of tenders

Provide amendments/changes to align commercial tenders with Downer contracting principles

Undertake negotiations of contract amendments with Clients

Project set up and loading of manufacturing demand in JDE

Creation and sending of invoicing as per contract terms

Management of order variations in line with agreed contract terms

Provide Client order updates as required

Prepare and provide reports to clients as requested.

Manage and undertake formal document transmittals

Close out projects in all relevant systems and logs.

Month end reporting.

ABOUT YOU

1-3 years’ experience in contracts administration

Knowledge of contract clauses/languages/risks such as indemnities, limits of liabilities, liquidated damages

Ability to understand and interpret contract terms/clauses

Intermediate to advanced experience with office software (outlook, word, excel)

Experience with JDEGS software an advantage
