Downer has a long-standing partnership with Logan Water, WSP and Cardno to deliver asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project delivery and organisational development services for the City of Logan. This project is a fast-paced, stable and highly rewarding line of works.

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Partnership Finance Manager, the Logan Water Accountant is instrumental to the successful delivery of various financial support to our project team. As an experienced Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment based in Beenleigh with the potential for future Project Accounting responsibilities within 6-12 months.

Key responsibilities include:
Month end activities including accruals, generating sundry reports

Labour recharge activities

Replicon reporting, coordination of timesheet corrections, including coordination of changes with client and sub-alliance partners

Head contract invoicing, sundry / miscellaneous invoicing

Supporting client based invoicing efforts

Sub-alliance claim reconciliation

Supporting project valuation processes including uploading of major project forecasts.

ABOUT YOU:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (majoring in Accounting).

CA/CPA or working towards (highly regarded but not essential)

Experience working within a large enterprise or project environment.

Exposure to JD Edwards (or similar ERP software).

A positive attitude, the desire to learn and grow with a continuously evolving team.
