We’re currently seeking a Landscape Account Manager to add to the Down to Earth Team. This role will challenge you to use your knowledge of horticulture and landscaping to build and grow new and current customer accounts·. You will focus on client retention and customer service while simultaneously gaining referrals and growing the business. As a Landscape Account Manager, you will manage landscape crews to deliver high-quality work, safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all landscape services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
• Ensure enhancement sales goals are met set by the Branch Manager.
• Initiate weekly client communication, property walks and enhancement sales opportunities.
• Maintain client satisfaction and perform contract renewals when the existing contract is concluded.
• Identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and prepare daily crew schedules.
• Training crew supervisors to follow company policies regarding employee and fleet safety.
• Overall production, safety, quality control, completion of assigned and self-written work orders.
• Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client standards.
• Inspect properties prior to scheduled service to prepare specific action plan for service.
• Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries.
• Oversee Production Manager, task them with responsibilities and ensure their 2erformance.
• Utilize Geo Tab fleet tracking software to optimize production schedules and track payroll hours.
• During winter months, managing a portfolio of snow work. This includes client communication, snow plowing, staging equipment, and billing work timely.

Qualifications & Abilities:

• Customer service and management experience are a must
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to organize and schedule multiple projects
• Ability to operate at a high level of accountability and responsibility for all activities of your team
• Ability to work independently and have problem solving skills
• Effective communicator with customers and throughout all levels of the company
• Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Driver’s License

Experience:

• 2+ years college or 4+ years landscaping experience.
• Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture, or other Green Industry degree
• Minimum of 5 years managing people, equipment, and operations
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting, bending, squatting required
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
