Graduate Software Engineer Job in Dorchester

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a successful company based in Dorchester who have been established for over 20 years. We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Software Engineer to join a highly successful, team-orientated, and well-respected company.

As the Graduate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for software developing and unit testing. The Graduate Software Engineer requires you to produce written design specifications to meet specified requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Producing written design specifications to meet specified requirements

• Writing test specifications

• Software developing

• Performing unit testing

• Adding to and improving automated product testing

• Analysing and diagnosing faults in existing products

• Bug fixing

• Providing written and verbal reports to management on project status’s

Knowledge and Experience Required:

· Programming languages: C, C++, Java, SQL, Python

· High levels of energy, coupled with a logical and structured approach to problem solving

· Passionate about technology and delivering change

· You must be able to work in a standalone agile engineering environment

· Proactive and conscientious with excellent organisational and time management skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
