Double D Express Hiring for Account Executive – Brokerage Division Full Time

Double D Express is an employee-owned company looking for a highly-motivated Account Executive to join our Brokerage Division – Double D Solutions!

As an Account Executive your focus will be on business development so you will be responsible for identifying and securing profitable revenue. Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry is a must.

• Competitive base salary plus commission
• Book of Business
• Transportation Sales experience – including 3PL Sales Experience
• Knowledge of utilizing current TMS technology (3PL Portals)
• Effectively Demo the system for customer presentations
• Cold Calling
• Managing new and established accounts for continued revenue and profit growth
• Maintaining positive client relationships
• Achieving strategic sales objective goals
• Communicates weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information
• Open Communication with the Solutions Dept and Sales team
• Staying proactive in problem solving should issues arise
• Outgoing, good communication skills and eager
• Excellent customer service skills
• Efficient time management skills
• Majority of the work includes travel time and meeting with customers, but working from home is also a must.
• Little or no overnight travel is required.
• On sight training with the Solutions team
• Preferably this individual will be located in Illinois.
• Double D Express will provide a company car, cell phone and iPad.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $48,000.00 per year
