Dot To Dot Rancho Bernardo is looking for it’s glue!

We are looking for a core team member to plant strong feet in the grounds, keep the amazing culture and quality of our second location of Dot To Dot, and be a super glue continuing to keep us all together in this growing company advocating for children, educators, humanity on an exhilarating journey!

Dot To Dot is a progressive school of inquiry for young children and inspired by Reggio Emilia approach to learning. We opened our first location in Rnacho Bernardo seven years ago and last July opened our second location in Carmel Valley Del Mar community. We don’t believe in the traditional system of naming team members as directors, assistant director, teacher. It does not reflect our image of an educator and culture of school. Your role will be somewhat similar to the traditional assistant director role and much more!

We believe that children are capable beings and our best catalyst to see the world from a fresh point of view. Our role as educators begin with observation and documentation in order to uncover the intention behind the children’s play. We believe in providing boundless opportunities for children to play, experience and understand their potentialities to help develop a voice and have the confidence to use it.

This is a calling to someone who is ready for learning, growth and rumble. We are looking for an individual ( have to mention assistant director for Indeed search engine!) with a background in education and early childhood and a growth mindset. You will be working very closely with our originator, school pedagogista and core team members, collaborating with educators to ensure the promise of school is kept to its highest potential. You will be stepping into a close knit community of passionate individuals who believe in a bigger purpose of what we do, and strive to keep an honest and transparent culture.

Your role as an (assistant director- Just for key search!) involves a lot of communication; reading the audience of your families, children and educators, gaging how they feel to connect and move your purpose forward. As part of your daily role, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks. You will be in a high energy environment; flexibility, coping skills and resiliency are amongst some of the essential attributes we are looking for. As part of your role you are required to float, cover breaks and be the support needed for the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
