Our team is growing and we are looking to hire an entry-level AP Clerk to join our accounting operations at our facility in Burnaby, BC. Reporting to Assistant Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will provide financial, administrative, and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. Job Responsibilities:
Receipt, verification, and entry of vendor invoices
Resolution of invoice discrepancies
Issue cheques and coordinate wire transfer to vendors
Review and reconcile company credit card statements
Log employee hours, track overtime, process vacation and absence forms, and update sick/vacation day usage charts
General filing and document bundling
Answer phones, direct calls, respond to inquiries, and perform other related financial and administrative duties as required
Job Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
Strong work ethic
Self-directed, determined, customer/team-oriented, energetic, and enthusiastic
Ability to multi-task, judge priorities and handle a variety of duties/assignments at once, while maintaining a positive attitude
Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc). Working knowledge of Expandable ERP software and/or Microsoft Office SharePoint is an asset
High school diploma and preferably 1-2 years post-secondary education or comparable experience
Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures is required, as is the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, entering, and reviewing financial information
Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or within an ISO9001:2015 electronics manufacturing environment is an asset
