We are expanding and seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer for a remote opportunity.

This is a remote contract 1099 or W-2 hourly position

ROLE

Our client has a need to for Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central Developer.

As this is a fast-growing operation, the successful candidates must be able to work independently and enjoy new challenges. The successful candidate will possess the ability and desire to grow and assume additional responsibilities as needed.

This role entails working with a highly motivated and skilled team of software engineers on developing, supporting, enhancing and scaling a payroll and time sheet entry system designed to support individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, eligible for public Medicaid assistance, to “self-direct’ their own long-term home care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modifying or creating pages, reports, tables or custom logic in C/AL, AL, and Extensions
• Documenting features created or modified
• Working with functional consultants to understand features and to relay accurately and effectively what changes have been made
• Investigating existing environments for functionality troubleshooting or scoping purposes
• Relaying status updates as needed to project managers and other team members

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience programming in Dynamics NAV
• Experience with Business Central / AL Extensions
• Ability to communicate well both orally and in written English
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to constantly update oneself on new software and market conditions
• Ability to write queries to query a SQL database is ideal
• Certifications in Dynamics NAV development is highly preferred
• Strong technical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
• Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Microsoft Dynamics Navision: 2 years (Required)
• Java: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote
