The Company is poised for significant growth, with current expansion into Minnesota, a new geography for them. The Company operates more than 40 locations in the Midwest, with plans to open 5-6 additional locations each year. As it executes on its growth strategy, it is critical that the Company’s unique culture be upheld and that business services functions be bolstered to support a larger, more complex entity.
Position Summary
The Vice President, HR will to the current EVP and future CEO for The Company. A key part of the senior leadership team, the VP HR will have the unique opportunity to support The Company’s growth through proven, scalable people and talent best practices, ensuring that they has the right programs and processes in place to attract and retain “A” players. The VP HR will display, execute, achieve and deliver on the Company’s Values, Purpose, Vision, Team Member Promise and Diversity Commitment.
The VP HR will be responsible for developing and executing the overall human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This position will have a broad scope of responsibility that will include talent acquisition, talent management, talent development and training, talent retention, compensation structure, benefits and wellbeing, compliance, diversity equity and inclusion, and culture. Bringing both broad business acumen and deep functional expertise, along with a cross-functional perspective, this person will serve as a trusted member and partner on the senior leadership team and will be a critical driver of strategic, operating and organizational models that support an expanding business. The VP HR will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team and shareholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, growth-minded, leader with experience in multi-site operations. This person will have an HR generalist background, with experience in all areas of talent recruitment and development as well as capability across the full suite of HR disciplines, including diversity, equity and inclusion. They will have a demonstrated ability to align HR strategy with an overall business plan. The ideal candidate will bring a best practices mindset and be accomplished at developing and leading effective HR processes. They will be a culture champion and collaborative team member who is energized by being in the field. They will also be a key leadership team member supporting the broader business strategy.
