[DMHS] CSR/Sales Representative
Job Information:
CSR Representative will oversee an assigned territory within assigned territory. The CSR Representative position will be responsible for managing existing customers and developing new customers in the specified territory selling allied products for several lines of material handling manufacturers.
Role & Responsibility:
Responsibilities
· Sell service preventative and full maintenance agreements.
· Rent forklifts, forklift components and other material handling equipment.
· Refer prospective parts and service customers to the appropriate departments.
· Continuously prospect new sales opportunities through phone calls, visits, networking (personal and social media) and email communications.
· Follow up and results of company supplied leads.
· Set customer appointments to ascertain and understand customer request, challenges, and equipment requirements.
· Record all customer interaction and follow up actions in the sales department CRM system.
· Strive to understand the buying cycles and next potential purchase of all prospective buyers within the territory.
· Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
· Compute sales prices, total purchases as well as gross and net profit margins.
· Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
· Describe equipment and explain use, operation, and care of equipment to customers.
· Prepare and present sales contracts.
· Schedule and execute delivery events at time of delivery to review operation of equipment, location of manuals and any questions the customer may have.
· Present/Demonstrate use, operation, features, functions, and benefits of equipment.
· Entertain prospective and existing customers to establish rapport.
· Attend regular scheduled sales team and individual meetings with management.
· Continuously update sales knowledge through sales training.
· Follow all Sales Department policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
· Experience Preferred: Material handling experience.
· Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
