Our G&A Finance & Strategy team powers some of the most important and foundational decisions for DoorDash globally, from compensation, talent acquisition, and real estate, to country, and business line launches. We support business leaders making cost-effective investments on a daily basis by building financial models to evaluate trade-offs, developing strategies for successful execution, and building KPIs to measure progress. As DoorDash became public while hyper-growing to new businesses and countries, our team is also the backbone for building and improving many core company-wide processes, including headcount planning.
The person hired into this role will directly interface and support the People and Finance leadership teams on financial decisions. We are looking for a strategic thinker, a high-impact leader, and someone passionate about improving processes. As a strategic thinker, you will autonomously identify root causes, model out the future with key considerations, and evaluate trade-offs both quantitatively and qualitatively. As a high-impact leader, you will drive consensus across key leaders with your financial recommendations. With passion in process, you will help streamline and improve forecasting and reporting processes to minimize manual work and human errors while enhancing the quality and speed of our decisions.
