What will you be responsible for?

You will be responsible for supporting the finance function of Donnini, learning on the job, and ensuring that this area of the business is running smoothly.

This will be achieved through close work with other members of the team, assisting where necessary.

Tactical Responsibilities:

As an Accounting & Administration assistant your responsibilities will include the following:

• Daily bookkeeping tasks
• Credit control
• Monitoring accounts inbox
• General property related admin
• Creating the weekly supplier pay run
• Ensuring guest deposits taken & returned in timely manner
• Sending monthly statements to clients
• Helping ensure properties are on best gas & electricity tariffs
• Assisting in the rate setting process
• Supporting financial analyst with month end reporting
• Reception for any calls that come in and passing them to relevant department
• Sending out any access codes for daily check-in’s
• Taking and answering phone calls about our apartments
• Responding to guest reviews and noting any maintenance points on the relevant system
• Assisting team members with administration duties
• Overall ensuring guests have the best possible experience

Strategic Responsibilities:

You are responsible for our bookkeeping system, ensuring it is as accurate & efficient as possible, suggesting improvements when necessary.

Essential Requirements:

• Maths & English National 5 or equivalent
• Keen to learn
• Eye for detail
• A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
• An interest in business, finance & accounting
• Need to be a team player

Package:

• Salary + Benefits including health insurance (Westfield Health) & a fast-paced work environment!
• On the job training, possible AAT qualification
• Job Type: Full-time
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-5
