At Doncasters we have a unique opportunity for a Head of Finance to join our EU operational Team.

The Role

As the Head of Finance for the EU operational team you will partner with the senior leadership team to generate data which drives strategic business decisions.

You will seek to drive long-term profitability through business data intelligence and margin analysis. While providing commercial financial insights relating to product profitability.

Your role will be busy and diverse you will produce and provide accurate timely financial and operational data, related to business financial performance. You will use this data to develop quantitative analysis with key Performance Indicators, and insights to action.

On a day to day basis you will provide:
Financial reports and updates with detailed analysis and variance reports

Review and finalize site profitability statements, month-end closing to meet deadlines and ensure smooth flow of processes for all units / subsidiaries and confirm accuracy of financial data

Preparation of business cases to evaluate new propositions and proposals for Bids, Contracts and New Product Development Introductions

We are looking for a qualified accountant or an experienced individual with a Masters degree or equivalent.

Ideally you will have Manufacturing knowledge and cost accounting experience with working knowledge of full accounts.

Familiarity with business information systems such as Hyperion/Epicor would advantageous.
