Software Engineer – Sydney Office – Permanent Full Time

Your Purpose

• We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Seekers technology team, specifically focused on the development of the consumer experience of development properties and new house and land.

• This position will work with other stakeholders in the platform backend and agent solution teams to complete development and product projects.

A Day in the life

• Implement solutions for Domain development and house and land properties across both

• frontend and backend technologies

• Write clean, readable and performant code.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure a solid, bug-free code base.

• Participate in sprint planning.

• Code review other team members code on a daily basis.

• Attend meetings and help solve problems.

• Help and mentor junior engineers when needed.

• Work in a team environment.

• Assist and support the Infrastructure team in operating the production infrastructure.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance for other team members.

Experience

• 2+ years experience working with React, HTML and CSS

• 2 years experience working with Node.js

• Be familiar working in an agile environment

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI etc).

• .NET Core experience highly desirable.

• Experience in maintaining and operating cloud product is highly desirable

• GraphQL experience is desirable.
