Job Details
General Summary:
Strategic partner, responsible for driving the talent acquisition strategy and execution processes for Dollar General’s IT positions through the sourcing, recruiting and interviewing of top tier, high potential candidates. Develops and implements recruiting initiatives to build a talent pipeline, develop executive bench strength, and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for management and execution (sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, presenting finalists, offer negotiations) of all IT searches, companywide.
- Develops and delivers IT talent acquisition strategies and execution tactics comprised of cold-calling, search engine optimization, social networking, candidate generation, talent communities, and relationship management.
- Development of partnerships and influence with business partners, internally and externally with a high level of proficiency and effectiveness
- Manage sensitive information and exercise acute discretion at all times
- Provides world class recruiting expertise in delivering high potential, well qualified, diverse talent for both current and future openings.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
- Ability to manage multiple projects/engagements simultaneously
- Exceptional ability to identify and source high potential candidates
- Experience in building and engaging diverse talent communities
- Proven ability to influence and drive a full-cycle Executive Search
- Excellent candidate management and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills with all levels of management
- Deep experience in innovative talent fulfillment tactics, with a strong track record of external candidate sourcing and networking capabilities
- Ability to adapt and be successful in a fast-paced, high volume, dynamic environment
Work Exerience and/or Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 5 to 7 years related work experience in senior level executive search with proven “candidate pipelining” ability.
- Experience with CRM and social media platforms.
- Executive Staffing Agency coupled with corporate experience specializing in IT strongly preferred.
