DOLCE&GABBANA Hiring for DG Beauty Americas_Key Account Manager Specialty Full Time

Role Summary: Responsible for delivering sustainable growth plan for brand at account. Determines where to play, how to win and uncovers white space opportunities. They are the main point of contact for their retail partners and manages overall relationship from strategic vision to execution, working closely with internal marketing, education, supply, planning and Field teams to achieve overall goals.

Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of retailer and market nuances to help set overall account strategy that guides the category priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/GWP/sets, holiday, non-saleable/collateral, training and all supporting elements.
• Develops full calendar of tailored objectives for retailer and retailer.com, leveraging overall brand category and marketing objectives and ensuring correct coordination and resource allocation between Brick and Mortar and Ecomm.
• Negotiates stock and sales plans with input from Account and Sales Planning
• Negotiates strong visual presence in stores and on retailer Ecomm
• Ensures that correct marketing activities (in store, co-op, digital/social etc.) support events, promos and other brand activities.
• Works closely with Marketing and Planning to ensure strong business decisions on marketing, assortment, stock levels, sampling, sets, exclusives and GWP’s are tailored to retailers consumers.
• Owns key P&L items for account and determines spend (in collaboration with VP of Sales) to maximize ROI and sales. Is responsible for seasonal/annual targets (retail sales, net sales, demo, co-op, promo, GWP, sets, capex) and shapes the execution of these items at the account. Collaborates with Finance on account/door P&L’s (prepared by Finance) to analyze opportunities for increased profitability.
• Collaborates with Field on overall account strategy and presents detailed plans and results

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years relevant experience
• Expertise to translate consumer insights and unique retailer strategies into key action steps
• Strategic thinker and able to layout a cohesive and clearly articulated strategy to drive the brand in each one of the different Retailers.
• Extensive business acumen and financial ability (i.e., P&L management, business drivers, building new channels/growth, savvy with business analyses) and analytical thinking
• Solid understanding of primary levers and components to successfully manage accounts
• Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker
• Strong communication, presentation skills and organizational skills
• Analytical approach in identifying opportunities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proven experience in managing, motivating and training a sales team
• Proven Experience in Key Account management of the main Specialty Retailers
• Teamwork attitude
• Able to work in a new/fast growing company with capacity to influence and improve processes
• Able to build the future of DG Beauty in the US Specialty market while increasing the quantity and quality of information
• Proficient computer skills necessary (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)

Work Location: Remote/Field – Travel to Miami corporate office for business meetings and Field travel for store checks and competitive landscape understandings.
