POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading the HR Work Stream to recruit, on-Board and train the employees at our new Kentucky facility which will be our largest Production and Warehouse Site at Diversey. At the conclusion of the project, the role will be the site HR Partner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In partnership with the HR Executive Director of North America, lead the HR Work Stream of a strategic project, collaborating cross-functionally with other key work streams and ensuring flawless execution of project deliverables. Project will involve the hiring of 200+ employees for a production and warehouse site, development of a comprehensive on-boarding and training curriculum for the new hires and seamless relocation of key staff to the new facility.
· Following conclusion of the project, will assume responsibilities of the Site HR Manager, becoming part of the leadership team at the new location
· Creates and maintains a positive employee relations environment as well as quality working relationships with the site leaders and employees
· Responsible and accountable for employee relations matters
·Leads employee engagement activities at the site level
·Support leaders with addressing employee performance concerns including guiding them through the disciplinary and termination processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and practices.
·Manage all recruitment efforts in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team and local management
·Responsible for the on-boarding process for new hires including developing and facilitating the new hire orientation.
·Support continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing processes in order to streamline for optimal effectiveness and efficiency
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
·Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist work experience supporting a manufacturing facility
·Strong understanding of HR laws, principles and practices
·Experience leading complex HR initiatives with emphasis on change management
·Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated agility
·Ability to perform independently at a high level, self-directed and self-motivated
·Proven ability to problem solve, work through issues with limited information, find efficiencies
·Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
·Excellent technical/systems skills
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
·HR Certification preferred
