Accounting Manager – Remote

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Advisory & Brokerage Controllers team. The team member would be a self-starter responsible for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

This role will have the opportunity to engage with groups across the organization as part of key business projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison between the line of business and centralized accounts payable processing function on all matters related to vendors and accounts payable
• Prepare monthly invoices to be sent to clients and manage accounts receivable process
• Perform month-end close and financial reporting processes timely and accurately
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Complete ad hoc financial reporting to internal stakeholders
• Support quarterly SEC and/or Regulatory Reporting as well as other ad hoc reporting requests
• Interact directly with key business partners, Finance associates, and associates throughout the controller’s group
• Review General Ledger for accuracy of expense allocation by departments and cost centers
• Identify and drive process efficiencies

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or military experience, at least 2 years of accounting or at least 2 years of audit experience, or any combination.

Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience in an operational accounting department or similar audit experience in the financial services industry. PeopleSoft application experience, intermediate – advanced Microsoft Excel experience, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to manage task completion/deliverables within appropriate timeframes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53.00 – $57.00 per hour
