POSITION:

The District of Tofino is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Public Works Labourer.

Labourer is responsible for a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled public works tasks and duties. These duties are generally physical in nature and require the use of simple tools and equipment.

HOURS OF WORK

This is a permanent, full-time position based on 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $29.98

This position is subject to a probationary period during which time the wage will be $26.98. The position offers a full range of benefits, including a pension plan, and is subject to the terms and conditions of the collective agreement between CUPE Local 118 and the District of Tofino.
