The District of Tofino is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the temporary full time position of Child Care
Worker.

Children’s Centre (the Centre).

HOURS OF WORK

This is a temporary position based on 40 hours per week starting on September 4, 2023 and ending on
September 6, 2024, with the possibility of extension. The hourly wage for this position is $24.53-26.00 depending on ECEA or ECE certification level, plus an additional 15.2% in lieu of benefits, vacation and statutory holidays. This position is subject to a probationary period during which time the wage will be $22.08-23.40. This is a union position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the collective agreement between CUPE Local 118 and the
District of Tofino.
