Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution Hiring for Finance Manager – Content Sales Job at London, England Full Time

Job Summary:

Content Sales look after the development and implementation of commercial strategies for the linear TV and digital distribution of The Walt Disney Company’s channels and content. In the UK, the team works with local broadcast and digital partners such as BSkyB, the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, iTunes, Lovefilm and BT Vision, to name a few – to bring compelling and creative Disney-branded and non-branded entertainment to viewers via a variety of platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the regional Content Sales Finance Director to deliver the Quarterly Forecasting processes, AOP and 5YP processes and all associated deliverables for Content Sales EMEA
• Manage the Quarterly Forecasting processes, AOP and 5YP processes and all related deliverables and presentations for Content Sales UK & CEE.
• Provide financial and business support to regional and UK & CEE sales teams
• Work with Finance Director to refine FP&A processes to increase efficiency, streamline input from territory teams and aid regional consolidation each forecasting cycle
• Work closely with and provide guidance and support to all EMEA Content Sales Territory Finance teams
• Co-ordinate with Accounting and Controllership in Burbank and London to manage the Content Sales invoicing, AR and collections process
• Support a ‘one team’ approach within EMEA finance. Build a network amongst the finance leadership community across lines of business and markets, sharing resources, knowledge and best practice

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree Qualified and ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis and experience of working in an equivalent role within the Media sector
• Experience of leading teams, managing people and evidence of development of junior team members
• Experience of working with and providing financial support to operational and commercial teams
