Disability Connect Victoria (DCV) is a leading disability service provider in the Southern Metro, Eastern Metro, Bayside Peninsula and all of Gippsland.

Over the last year DCV continued to provide support services to people living across Victoria. As we settle into a new normal, more and more people are looking to commence supports.

With this influx of support being required, DCV is now in the process of onboarding a large number of new support workers – this is where the successful candidate will be focussing their time.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment & Onboarding Consultant to join our team and take the lead on our recruitment, induction and HR support area.

We are a vibrant, friendly, hardworking team. The successful candidate will be based in our Head Office, in Warragul.

We are looking for an experienced person to join our team and assist the business through this period of high growth, with an emphasis for the successful candidate to build on their existing skills to find suitable Complex Care, Disability, and Mental Health Support Workers to join the DCV field team.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in administration, recruitment, or a disability services office based role, as it is fast-paced and you must be able to work and think on your feet.

You will bring a strong team focus and proactive approach, and a genuine interest in finding the best support workers to join our team!

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in all aspects of recruitment (or willing to learn), including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, conducting reference checks and onboarding successful candidates
• Excellent telephone and email etiquette and skills
• Self-driven, motivated, organised and working with purpose
• Strong communication skills, attention to data entry accuracy
• Ability to present induction programs in front of candidate groups
• Completing allocated tasks within timeframes and deadlines
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment – recruitment industry experience preferred
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team, with minimal direction and supervision
• Competent in all Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Own car and driver’s license
• Willing to meet and exceed the challenges of working in a KPI driven work environment
• Ability to hit the ground running and successfully manage multiple tasks, including conducting interviews and inductions upon commencement
• Ability to take on constructive feedback to continuously improve
• Willing to learn and grow as the recruitment and training team expands
• Highly developed time management skills
• Professional, Accountable, Transparent and Reliable
