About DCV

DCV provides a broad range of NDIS and TAC (Transport Accident Commission) person-centred services, delivered by our large team of experienced support workers. DCV’s services are provided in people’s own homes and in the community, to people living with disability or mental health conditions, or requiring support with their rehabilitation and therapy programs, across the entire Eastern half of Victoria.

About the position

The position of Accounts Administrator is a full-time, fast-paced and rewarding position. Tasks include (but are not limited to) managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll services, fully supported by the CEO and COO.

Our team prides itself on working together collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes – we even have fun along the way! The successful candidate will need to be an active and supportive member of our office and broader external teams, with excellent verbal and written communication skills – while also having the ability to work autonomously, to tight deadlines, with minimal supervision. A ‘can do’ and ‘whatever it takes’ attitude is a must.

This position will ideally suit a highly organised person who is self-driven, has a strong accounts/accounting and/or payroll background, and experience. If you have one stronger point over another, we are still keen to speak to you – job re-design is an option.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years previous employment in an Accounts/Finance role
• Skilled in the use of accounting / banking software (Xero preferred)
• Highly skilled and accurate with regard to data entry; has attention to detail;
• Accounts payable data entry, supplier payment processing, bank reconciliation, sales invoicing experience is essential
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously and productively within a small team (20) environment
• Preferred: Relevant Qualification at Certificate IV minimum or willing to obtain

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (start and end times may be negotiated for the right person). There may be an option to negotiate a portion of your role to a work from home scenario as a flexible working option however this cannot be more than a third of your weekly hours.
