Talent Acquisition Specialist – Quality R&D

My client is a leader in medical device that develops innovative technologies and solutions that specific target dermatology and plastic surgery. They are seeking to hire a Talent Acquisition Partner to collaborate with a dedicated and hard-working Talent Acquisition team focused on recruiting professionals while providing an outstanding experience for both their hiring managers and candidates. You will lead the recruiting life-cycle process and will serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers on all recruiting activities. You will help evaluate candidates for alignment with the organization’s core values and mission.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full life cycle recruiting process from start to finish including leading the job kick-off call, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback and close (70% of your time)
• Partners with Hiring Managers to assess and understand the skills and work experience required for each position
• Create and implement recruiting strategies with the goal of hiring a diverse talent pool who contribute to culture
• Anticipates and proactively communicates recruiting activity and status to Hiring Managers and Business Partners
• Ensures a high level of candidate engagement and positive candidate experience
• Effectively leads the offer negotiation process with candidates
• Maintains a strong pipeline of candidates and cultivates a strong network of passive candidates
• Ensures ATS is populated with up-to-date information at all times and leverages all required tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Job Slots, Total Rewards, etc.)
• Promotes a diverse candidate slate and works with Hiring Managers to identify and engage a diverse pool of candidates. Ensures compliance with EEO/AAP throughout entire process
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• Min. 5+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated success as an in-house or staffing agency recruiter managing the recruiting life-cycle process
• Non Commercial experience required (i.e. QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Technical Ops)
• Experience within the life sciences environment is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility and develop partnerships with Hiring Managers, internal partners and candidates
• High emotional intelligence, empathy and self-awareness
• Passion for designing and implementing a wide range of creative and thoughtful Talent Acquisition strategies and programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience handling confidential information
