Dinklage Feed Yard Inc Hiring for Accounting and Finance Specialist Job at Sidney, NE Full Time

Summary: Primary responsibilities include customer financing, general ledger processes, account reconciliations, interest rate accruals, assisting with preparation of financial statements, and general overall accounting duties.

Directs and performs Dinklage of Nebraska customer loan settlements for finance feed and cattle.

· Works with Company Bankers to ensure the proper loan information is collected and maintained for Customer Financing.

· Performs various accounting functions in Turnkey Software system.

· Cross-trained in feed yard Office Manager responsibilities to be able to assist and troubleshoot various accounting related functions at feed yard level.

· Assists and works with Team Members and Company Accountants to generate profit and loss statements, depreciation, borrowing base, month end procedures, and reconciliation of company accounts.

· Performs daily cash management and margin calls.

· Assists with annual audits by preparing information for auditors and answering questions.

· Performs various year end accounting processes and procedures.

· Understands and processes interest rate accruals for Dinklage Feed Yards, Inc. and Dinklage of Nebraska, Inc.

· Assists with Cap-X reconciliation, asset keeper, and depreciation schedules.

· Prepares and evaluates various Manager and Shareholder meeting reports.

· Works with Human Resources to cross train in payroll processes.

· Coordinates and troubleshoots turnkey functions including working with team members and support systems to keep systems and software up to date.

· Responsible for administrative tasks including assisting with daily mail, correspondence, answering phones, and additional administrative functions.

· Various additional duties may be assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
