Tax Senior (Part‐Time and Remote)

A boutique tax preparation and consulting CPA firm is looking for a dynamic and energetic team player to join as a tax senior. This is a permanent part‐time position for a CPA or candidate with 2‐5 years of income tax preparation and accounting experience.

What we are looking for ‐ qualifications:

– Must have a minimum of 2‐5 years experience with income tax return preparation for businesses and individuals
– CPA/EA qualification or a candidate
– Proficient with QuickBooks online and excel spreadsheets
– Experience with Lacerte a plus
– Clear written and verbal communication skills
– Multi‐tasking skills and the ability to alternate between different work processes

Duties include:

– Prepare and review 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and other tax returns
– Review client’s QuickBooks file, correct errors and post adjusting entries
– Monthly accounting work using QBO for a handful of clients
– Assist small business clients with setting up, maintaining, and overseeing their accounting process
– Tax research and completing special assignments

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 – $47.00 per hour
