Diluigi Foods Hiring for Logistics and Demand Planning Specialist at Danvers, MA Full Time

As part of our continued growth and expansion, DiLuigi Foods is currently in need of a Logistics and Demand Planning Specialist. The ideal candidate must be detailed, organized and have prior knowledge in logistics and demand planning as well as a BA in a related field. Prior ERP experience as well as excellent computer skills are also required.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for maintaining all freight vendor relationships, ensuring freight is shipped efficiently, and maintaining the company demand plan.

· Maintain relationships with all new & existing inbound/outbound freight brokers and carriers.

· s on historical pricing trends and costs related to product logistics.

· Negotiates freight rates.

· Tracks shipments and investigates OS&D product.

· Tracks and maintains customer logistics scores, assuring that standards are met or exceeded.

· Maintains internal and external grading system for carriers, aiding in the selection and RFP process.

· Ensures operational efficiencies in the shipping process including batching and palletization.

· Maintains the demand plan according to historical trends, sales forecasts, and sales orders.

· Works cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Receiving, Customer Service, Scheduling, and Production.

· Assists with physical warehouse inventory cycle counts if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
