You

We are looking for a C# Software Developer to join our small, dynamic engineering team to help power and automate our business. This is a hands-on development role working on our customer, supplier, and internally facing applications. These may be web apps, APIs, or native.

You should be comfortable coding in C# & SQL and using tools such as Visual Studio & Git. You should also understand design patterns, love writing well-architected code and be a fan of releasing early and often.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, a self-starter, a great cultural fit, and who likes to learn on the job.

Day to day you will be

• Developing customer & supplier facing applications
• Working with designers and other developers to build new features and provide enhancements
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing functionality
• Contribute to documentation
• Deploying your code to our hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Shaping the future of our tech-stack
• Following an Agile development process using Trello and Scrum
• Helping to grow our engineering team

Essential skills

• C# & .NET Framework
• Object-Oriented Programming
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Git and Github
• Very good attention to detail ensuring high code quality
• Be proactive, ability to multi-task, and take responsibility for organising and prioritising your workload while finding a good balance between development velocity and code quality
• Team player with a flexible approach to tasks
• You are a keen learner and love sharing your knowledge with others

Desirable but not essential

• Experience with Javascript/React, .Net Core, Entity Framework and ASP.Net
