At the heart of our charity’s strategy is a commitment to help people live better and more confident lives with diabetes, free from discrimination. As Content Manager in the Digital Education team, you’ll work with our small group of clinical, UX, outreach and technical specialists to develop our award-winning online education service, Learning Zone, which reaches over 130,000 users. You’ll collaborate directly with people living with diabetes, and with content freelancers, to co-produce, manage and deliver vital educational content that will help people live well and longer with diabetes. Over the next nine months, Learning Zone will be undergoing a significant rebuild to become a mobile-first app-style product. You will reshape our existing content assets for the brand new platform designs, and continue to produce and manage original and innovative content for the new formats and features. You’ll be exploring, devising and delivering exciting new ways to help people deepen their knowledge of their condition and transform their health and their lives.
We have a friendly and inclusive working environment here at Diabetes UK and are proud of our ‘Connected Working’ framework which allows great flexibility in the way that we work. This means that you can balance your working time between home and the office, subject to the needs of your role of course. We do not dictate the number of days you have to attend the office.
