An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join the 111 HR Team.

You will support the 111 Head of HR and HR Team ensuring proactive and effective management of employment relations and absence matters across DHU 111. You will provide generalist advice and support to managers, assist with HR projects and build strong working relationships with internal and external teams.

The duties of the role will include:
Management of a varied caseload of employment relations activities

End to end experience of managing absence issues, including complex cases

Providing confidential, accurate advice and support to Managers across the HR spectrum in a timely manner

Knowledge and the practical application of current employment legislation

Preparing reports and analysing data

Utilising HR Information Systems

Contributing to the development and improvement of processes and policies following best practice

You will need:
CIPD Qualification, or working towards is desirable

A good general level of education including GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above, or equivalent qualification

Strong HR generalist background, with proven experience of managing employment relations and absence issues to satisfactory conclusions

A mature and professional approach

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Effective communication skills

The ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner

Strong team player with a willingness to support team members as required
