DHL Inside Track, part of the Manufacturing Logistics division are currently looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our team working from our site based in Milton Keynes. This is a dedicated site operating multiple contracts for a prestigious Global Automotive Manufacturer. You will be part of a team of 70+ employees where you will business partner the General Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who will control all aspects of the Finance function ensuring accurate and timely reporting to internal DHL Stakeholders. You will provide accurate information and support to the Operations team and wider DHL.

The Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

• Completion of month end accounts, balance sheets, OBR’s and other internal reports
• Completion of Month end invoicing activities.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances to budgets / forecasts
• Management of site Finance function and development of direct reports
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice
• Work closely with the General Manager in understanding key cost drivers of contract profitability
• Providing appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence key decisions
• Review key risks and identify potential risks
• Ensuring financial controls are robust and fit for purpose
• Supporting Financial Controller / Commercial teams

To be successful as a Finance Manager in DHL Supply Chain you need the following:

• Proven track record in a similar level role with experience of the above requirements
• Ability to influence key decision makers at all level
• Excellent knowledge of accounting processes and terminology
• People management experience and excellent communication skills
• Execelelnt ExEither relevant financial qualifications (AAT / CIMA etc.), training towards them or be qualified by experience
