Responsibilities

As the Accounting Manager at DHL, you will be responsible for managing a large team within a fast-paced, high volume environment. This role will also focus on continuous improvement and process review to ensure the increasing needs of our transport business are met.

Duties:

• Management and responsibility of day to day transactional accounting activities
• Responsibility for sector monthly P&L and balance reviews
• Roll out of Oracle transport management system finance functionalities and integration with Oracle finance system
• Implementation and monitoring of an effective internal control environment, with a view to continuous improvement of financial processes
• Lead, mentor and develop a high performing finance team and assist with future growth opportunities

Requirements

• Extensive experience within a similar role managing a team
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar
• CA/CPA qualification
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Oracle financial (desirable)
