Job Description

• Oversee the entire logistics process
• Require having extensive knowledge of the transportation industry and relationship with carriers
• Constant communication / negotiations with carriers to improve performance
• Must have knowledge of the ins and outs of carrier operations
• Negotiate with carriers on terms and conditions
• Manage all inbound shipments from Mexico, China, Thailand, Korea, Etc
• Establish shipping priorities and any critical needs
• Manage customs brokers for all customs clearance, classification, and compliance regulations
• Create improved process flows for PO Management, shipment tracking and ing
• Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual s for all logistics operational performance and spend
• Collaborate with finance, production, sales, customer service teams to support needs of the business
• Manage carrier forecast and allocation plan
• Responsible for managing logistics budget of over $20M
• Continuously thrive for better way to monitor and manage health level of all aspects of operations
• Identify opportunities to new business chances
