Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent engineering experience
• Minimum of 8 years of overall mixed IT experience
• Minimum of 3 years of cloud experience (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform, PowerShell, Git)

Technical Skills

• Understanding of cloud computing technologies
• Optionally, demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
• Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability
• Azure PaaS Services: Logic Apps, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, IoT suite, Advisor, etc.
• Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD, ADFS, etc.
• Data Platform and Big Data: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, HDInsight/Hadoop, Machine Learning, Cosmos DB
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Experience in implementing cost management solutions
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Hub-Spoke model, On-prem, VWAN)
• Any cloud certifications (AZ-400, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar)
• Experience deploying/migrating mixed Cloud architectures (PaaS, SaaS, and/or IaaS)
