We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment team and processes. This role is based from our head office in Doncaster, but with a hybrid approach and carries lots of flexibility for home working (with some occasional travel required).
Develop, implement and monitor the DB Cargo UK recruitment strategy which is fit for purpose, modern and meets the requirements of the business
Design and deliver appropriate recruitment solutions and processes along with supporting material for all recruitment activity
Develop and manage the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) for approved agencies and suppliers of recruitment solutions, ensuring this delivers best value for DB Cargo UK
Be responsible for overseeing and managing the general volume of all recruitment activity taking steps to prioritise when necessary
Working in collaboration with the DB Executive Management function, take the lead on Executive and Senior Manager recruitment in accordance with company’s strategy, utilising a range of appropriate selection methods and ensuring compliance with the wider DB Cargo groups requirements
Ensure all recruitment activity adheres to Diversity and Inclusion principles
Assume responsibility for the compliance of all recruitment activity in accordance with right to work legislation, General Data Protection Regulations and equal opportunities legislation and best practice
Coach hiring managers and HR teams on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques to drive business effectiveness and where appropriate, participate in the shortlisting, interview and assessment of candidates, offering professional expertise in all recruitment decisions
Working in collaboration with the Technical Training Manager to ensure high quality candidates for Driver and Groundstaff training
Working in collaboration with the Talent Development Business Partner and the Head of HR Operations to plan and ensure a sustainable flightpath of all future employees in accordance with the workforce plan
Responsible manage the Recruitment team and the Assessment Centre
Be responsible for all external recruitment activity, including advertising media, publications and social media. Promote the rail industry at schools/colleges, universities, open days and job fairs to create the next generation of rail employees
In collaboration with DB AG, responsible for the maintenance of Avature, the recruitment HRIT system, and ensure it is fully embedded to maximise efficiencies in the recruitment process
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in recruitment (either internal or external) and experience of managing a team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise, strong customer focus and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
