We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Information Systems (HRIS) Assistant to join our Human Resources team, on a fixed term contract basis to cover a period of maternity leave, from as soon as possible, to July 2023.
The successful candidate will ideally be commutable to Doncaster, however this is relatively flexible as the team are working on a hybrid basis.
The HRIS Assistant will be responsible for supporting the HR Information Systems Manager (HRIS Manager) with the implementation and development of all HR systems, taking a lead on delegated areas of project or system functionality;
They will act as the primary contact for all incoming day to day HRIS matters, including those from International entities, triaging issues or delegating as appropriate.
To support the HRIS Manager with the implementation of all HRIT systems, taking a lead role on delegated project workstreams or functional requirements;
To build and maintain a working knowledge of all HR systems and their interfaces to include (but not limited to) Workday, Cascade, ADP, SharePoint
To be the primary contact within the HR team for all HR system issues, triaging, problem solving or escalating to the HRIS Manager as appropriate;
To log, manage and take ownership of all system development requirements, proposing innovate solutions to problems and making recommendations for future improvements where possible;
To actively engage with external and third party organisations, on all HRIS matters which support the ongoing management of systems and their user, including DB Cargo AG;
To pro-actively promote the integrity and accuracy of data within HR systems and for ensuring that those systems are designed and configured to support this requirement;
To be the main point of contact for all regular and ad hoc data reporting requirements, as appropriate;
Deliver appropriate planned or unplanned training interventions on HR systems to ensure that they are effectively deployed across the business and user experience is enhanced;
Deputise for the HRIS Manager as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in systems and have strong Excel skills, experience working with advanced formulas is essential.
HR knowledge and/or experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates with experience of working with a HR Information System (particularly Workday) will be at a distinct advantage.
In return, we are offering a salary of £27,542, rising to £28,920 when the candidate is confident in the role. We also offer a competitive benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave (plus all English bank holidays) and a competitive pension scheme.
