Design Management Company Hiring for Operations Manager at Houston, TX, US Full Time

MUST HAVE FURNITURE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our reputable furniture manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our production facility, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional quality in all aspects of project execution.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Project Management :

Manage the work portfolio to drive projects to success, delivering to customers within budget, promised lead time, and expected specifications and quality.

Utilize company processes and strategic planning to execute projects from order receipt to delivery.

Knowledge Base Development :

Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of each client’s project, organization, and objectives.

Documentation and Communication :

Establish and maintain project charter, plan, budget, and other project documents.

Arrange and lead project meetings, manage Request for Proposals (RFPs), and ensure overall project quality control.

Submit weekly s to provide updates on project status.

Collaboration and Partnership :

Work closely with the project manager and site operations team throughout project phases.

Collaborate with other managers to plan production schedules, allocate resources, and address issues as they arise.

Quality Assurance :

Implement inspection protocols for all operations to ensure compliance with design and contract requirements.

Verify that shop drawings accurately represent and implement the design indicated by the construction documents.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the furniture industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and quality assurance.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and committed to excellence.
