Design & Build Recruitment Hiring for Junior HSE Advisor at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

With more than 30 years of experience, our client is a leader in building commercial projects from concept through to completion. Our client is established in the Inner Sydney Suburbs and delivers projects across Sydney valued up to and in excess of $50m – $500m

Due to organic growth and their continued success, our client has an excellent opportunity for an Junior HSE Advisor to join their team. There will be on-the-job training provided and progression opportunities for the successful applicant.

As the Junior HSE Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Site based
  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
  • Ensure legislation is adhered to
  • Ensuring all sites are compliant with current Quality regulations
  • Provide training & advice to team members and subcontractors
  • Conduct reviews and risk analysis
  • Manage and develop relationships with employees and stakeholders
  • Incident investigation and ing

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
  • 1 + years in an HSE role within in the construction industry
  • Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
  • Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills
